Naperville Tornado Relief
Our Organization
We're just a group of neighbors who started in the days after the tornado by creating a Facebook page to connect neighbors who needed help with those who wanted to volunteer. We called ourselves the Ranch View Area Community Assistance Group. Our hearts were warmed as neighbors provided meals, tarps, and their time to help our community in the aftermath of the tornado. We also threw a barbecue for the community.
Now, we're looking to fill in the gaps and help our neighbors in a meaningful way. We settled on the environmental cleanup of yards, knowing that such work is not covered by insurance. We also know how our yards provide an important refuge for our kids to play, our pets to romp, and families to enjoy.

Our initiative will be a quick one! We will raise funds through the Spring of 2023, distribute grants through the spring and summer, and close out our program with an audit at the end of the 2023.

We have partnered with the M.P. Foundation, a local nonprofit, to ensure that we use best practices as we raise and distribute funds.
Our Mission
Our mission is to raise and distribute $1.5 million in grants over the next year to fund the environmental cleanup of yards, landscape remediation, and landscape replacement in the area hardest hit by the Father's Day 2021 tornado that struck our corner of Naperville.
